Ben Cohen is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Tiamat Maritime, where he leads the company’s strategic growth, partnerships, and operational development.

Throughout his career, Ben has built a reputation for bringing together multidisciplinary teams to solve challenging problems in dynamic environments. His experience spans the public, private, and defense sectors, with a focus on developing innovative solutions, building strategic partnerships, and translating technical capabilities into practical outcomes.

At Tiamat Maritime, Ben applies a mission-oriented leadership philosophy rooted in integrity, disciplined execution, and a commitment to delivering reliable services that help organizations better understand and operate within complex maritime environments. A qualified Combatant Diver, FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot, and PADI Master Scuba Diver, he brings both operational expertise and technical credibility to the maritime domain.

 

Under his leadership, Tiamat combines experienced operators, aerial drones, underwater robotics, uncrewed systems, and advanced data collection capabilities to support survey, inspection, and maritime operations where visibility and access are often limited.

In addition to his role at Tiamat Maritime, Ben is the founder and CEO of Leviathan Collective, an organization dedicated to empowering veteran entrepreneurs through technology commercialization, venture development, and collaborative innovation initiatives.
